Arrows journal: just a few life studies and i can see looking at my older pictures that i have improved. Its nice and encouraging to see improvements in my art.

Chapter X: AOTEAROA

New Zealand the place where your eyes are truly open, Where you see things you can only dream, A fantastical land full of inspiration and adventure and also a special place to me by the name of Paradise.
Rainy it was that day in Paradise. A day of high hills, tall trees, a great horse trek and a horse of Edoras non the less. The heavens had opened onto our Drizabone waxed jackets, Red was pulling to go ahead, Megan our wonderful guide of the Dart stables was explaining where in the forest and surrounding landscape the Lord of the Rings was filmed. It was my favourite day.
The land of the long white cloud is smaller than most other lands and yet seems so much bigger with its wide open landscapes, ancient forests, flowing lakes and sounds, wintry warm glaciers, snow clad mountains of the south and rolling green hills of the north land.
AOTEAROA is a magical place that i will return to in my story.
